CE-DFW Warehouse Solutions began in March of 1998 in a home in Keller, Texas with only one customer and one technician. Rene Verstraete started the company based on the concept of providing a wide range of warehouse equipment services at a fair price, while concentrating on response time and customer service.
In June of 2000, CE-DFW reached several mile stones. We moved into our first business location in Hurst, Texas. Now with 4 full time technicians, Rene wanted to add a full-time salesman to help grow the business.In June of 2000, Brian Hoffmann joined, CE-DFW bringing with him prior experience and relationships in the material handling industry.
In September of 2001, Bobby Barr joined as a second salesman, bringing valuable knowledge and experience of the industrial equipment sales field with him. Due to the high level of attention given to his customer base, many customers followed Bobby to CE-DFW. In October of 2001 Brian & Bobby acquired 50% of the business from Rene. The different backgrounds and great customer relations provided a great mixture of corporate structure.
In April of 2007, Rene retired, leaving the business in the hands of Bobby and Brian to continue providing the best possible customer service in the industry.
After Rene’s retirement, the company experienced a rapid growth under Brian and Bobby’s ownership, allowing us to move into a larger location, hire more sales reps, and even expand our product lines. Our product lines consisted of PowerAmp, Genie, Donkey, Dynaco, Fairborn USA, and at the end of 2010 we become a Doosan Forklift Dealer.
Today, CE-DFW has relocated to Grapevine, TX in a considerably larger facility, with over 5,000 customers, 56 office employees, and 91 technicians. Over the past several years, we have been very fortunate to hire key people with many years of experience in both the loading dock & material handling business. The experts in our parts department have over 35 years of experience to help manage over $790,000 worth of material handling and lift truck parts inventory which helps to reduce our customers’ down time. Our front office staff is dedicated to customer service and making it easy to do business with CE-DFW. Many of our customers require special billing procedures or reports in which we are always happy to help however possible. We are continuously providing our technicians training both in house and at various manufacturers organized classes. Our average technician has over 10 years of experience. As we have grown we have developed long-term relationships with our customers based on trust, friendship, and mutual respect and continually strive to exceed our customers’ expectations of service and value. Today, as it was when we began our entire team, CE-DFW’s commitment of focus is still on superior service and response.
